Background
This deck is a subset of the material I’ve delivered at Kellogg for the last 9 years in my Entrepreneurial Tools for Digital Marketing class. It’s a presentation I’ve given over a dozen times at Kellogg, Techstars, 1871 in Chicago, and other venues.
A couple notes:
- I’ve exported the slides as is - there might be some visual issues in places.
- The slides are heavily annotated, but the original intent of the deck was as a presentation. As such some slides might be missing relevant context. Also while quotations have been credited in the deck, there are places where the citation of models, etc. was verbal.
- The bulk of this material is consolidated learnings from various heads of marketing and growth. Thanks to Andrew Chen, Casey Winters, Brian Balfour, Sean Ellis, Jamie Quint, Brian Dean, Rahul Vohltra, Hiten Shah, Noah Kagan, and many others. There is no textbook for growth, so I effectively tried to make one for the course from the best writing I could find on the topic. They deserve the credit, I simply curated it and tried to make it pretty.
Reach out with questions - I hope this is in some way helpful to you.
